BECOME HEALTHY WITH FOX CANTEEN   Balanced Choices, Becoming a Big Part in Everyday Life Every day we learn more and more about the foods we eat.  Certain foods, while they taste great can lead to medical conditions such as Diabetes or Heart Disease.  Our customers that want to eat healthy now can with our Balanced Choice options.  We are in phase one of upgrading every snack machine in our system to have Low-Fat, Low-Calorie, or Sugar-Free items along the Right-Hand Side of each machine.   In our lunchrooms with two snack machines, we can install one all healthy item machine.   We began this at Bemis in Terre Haute in January of 2006.  So far the sales have been productive from both machines in each lunch room.  Regular snack sales are accounting for roughly 65 % of snack sales, while the healthy items accounted for 35% of sales.  Our healthy items include: Baked Lays, Pretzels, Light Popcorn, Sugar-Free Candy, Fruit Snacks, Granola Bars, Trail Mix, and Animal Cookies.  If you would like more information on the healthy items available to you, contact us.
